1. BOMA Business Mixer...Wednesday, April 8th Panchito's at the Quarry The Social Committee has planned a BOMA Business Mixer from 5:30 - 8:30pm to kick off FIESTA. Stop by to network with other BOMA members and find out the great things about BOMA San Antonio. Appetizers will be served and a cash bar will be available. LEED EB Operations & Maintenance(O&M) Seminar Series The first seminar is an overview of LEED EB O&M process will be held Wednesday, May 6th from 8:30am-3:30pm in the SAWS Conference Room located on the 1st Floor of the North Building (2800 US HWY 281 North). The seminar cost is $50 per member and will include lunch. Reservations must be made by Friday, May 1st to Paul Dockery with Chemsearch at 210.723.8990 or email him at soapeddler@aol.com. 3. Only 9 days left to submit your building data to BOMA's EER Visit our quick and easy new online survey to submit your data. The survey will be open until April 15, 2009. Unaudited data is acceptable, and all submissions are kept in the strictest confidence. Only aggregate, summary analysis will be provided in the report. Please note, the EER does NOT include any data on industrial office buildings, hotels, apartments, multi-family buildings or shopping centers. DonŽt miss out on an easy way to add value to your operations. As a contributor, you will receive a complimentary Expense Performance Comparison, which measures each building submitted with similar buildings by location, age and size. Trade Show Seminar The trade show seminar will be held on Thursday, May 14th from 1:00pm - 4:30pm at the Norris Convention Center. The trade show will begin immediately after the seminar. The seminar is for all property managers, assistants and building engineers. The seminar will have three components: Getting started with LEED for Existing Buildings, the Use of LEED for Commercial Interiors and Green Cleaning. The seminar will be taught by LEED AP instructors: Brent Anderson, Billy Padgett and Bruce Albright. The seminar flyer with additional details will be available on the website later this week.
