The Holiday Cocktail Party is Wednesday December 12 at Biga on the Banks from 6pm to 10pm with 145 planning to attend. Due to the location of the party, Biga will be unable to process credit cards at the bar but will accept cash only. Please plan accordingly.

The cost for the party is $50 per person. Reservations are required and no shows will be billed for the event.

The IRS has authorized an increase, beginning January 1, 2008, in standard mileage rates. The rates will be:

• 50.5 cents per mile for business miles driven
• 19 cents per mile driven for medical or moving purposes
• 14 cents per mile driven in service of charitable organizations
