Secretary/Treasurer

Jackie Mallette has accepted the nomination to run for the position of Secretary/Treasurer for the 2008 SABOMA Board of Directors. She joins two other nominees, Gloria Contreras and Rebecca Sims, on the ballot for this position.

Jackie has been an active member of SABOMA for seven years and has a total of 18 years of property management experience. She has served as co-chair of the Social Committee, and on the BOMA OPEN and Trade Show Committees. Jackie is honored to be nominated and is committed to continuing to serve SABOMA now and in the future.

5. Job Opportunity I
Commercial/Medical Property Manager

Cambridge Real Estate Holdings, Inc. is looking for a Commercial Property Manager for our medical office facility in San Antonio, Texas. Medical property management experience is a definite advantage but not required.

Job Description

  • Tenant relations, correspondence and frequent visits/meetings
  • Oversee capital projects, tenant remodeling, finish out, etc.
  • Work order preparation/monitoring for all maintenance and repairs
  • Oversee maintenance staff and outside contractors/vendors
  • Annual budget preparation and operating expense reconciliations
  • Invoice review/approvals, data entry of A/P and A/R, and preparation/delivery of monthly tenant statements
  • Monthly reporting, expense monitoring, variance analysis, collection activities
  • Lease administration and compliance (insurance tracking, financials, etc.)
  • Risk management
  • Work with leasing agents/brokers to ensure all critical dates are met starting from negotiations all the way through move-in, as well as monitoring and reporting of lease activity (move-ins, outs, renewals/expansions)
Requirements
  • Commercial real estate experience - minimum 5 years on-site
  • Solid accounting and advanced computer skills- Excel, Word, property mgmt software
  • Strong orientation in customer service an absolute must
  • Direct construction management a must
  • Exceptional written/oral communication skills; excellent organizational skills
  • Analytical and decision-making skills, along with ability to manage team members
  • Lease negotiating skills, RPA or comparable designation a plus
