Shelly Anthis has accepted the position of Executive Director for San Antonio BOMA. Her first day will be June 25. Please welcome her and give her lots of patience as she learns the ropes!

Effective 6/25, the SABOMA office will be temporarily relocated to the Catholic Life Building. The PO Box mailing address will remain the same. The new phone number will be 210-822-4499 and the fax number is 210-822-4490. Starting next Monday, the new email address for all SABOMA correspondence is staff@saboma.org.

Jerry and I just got back from a week in New Orleans and I wanted to tell everyone how fantastic it was. Some of the best restaurants in the world are in the crescent city!

The reason I bring this up is that the Southwest Regional Conference will be held in New Orleans next year. I'd hate to think that anyone might hesitate to attend post-Katrina so I wanted to let you all know that the city is in great condition and ready to entertain visitors. There has been a tremendous amount of corporate support for the conference, with almost all the sponsorships already sold.

When you see the registration information hit your desk early next year, be sure to carve some time out of your schedule to participate. The dates are April 9-12, 2008.
