We are now accepting registrations for Design, Operation and Maintenance of Building Systems, Part Two. Pete Felts will be the instructor and it will meet twice a week from 5:30 to 7:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Catholic Life Building starting on June 19. The last class meeting will be August 9 and the exam date is August 14.

If you would like to sign up for this course, please let me know. The course registration fee is $575 and there is an additional one-time enrollment fee of $175 if this is your first course.

SABOMA has a scholarship program for members whose employer will not pay for professional education; just ask if you would like to see an application.

Last Thursday I faxed registration forms for our pre- trade show seminar The Disaster Experience to Regular Members only. However, the segment of our Allied Members in the security and restoration fields will probably be interested in the program as well, so feel free to check out the flyer on the Education page of our website if you'd like to participate.

Have you marked your calendar for our May 24 trade show? It's only three weeks away! Our joint expo with San Antonio Association of Building Engineers (SAABE) promises to be the event of the year, complete with a Las Vegas theme.

Norris Conference Center is a spectacular new venue and we are looking forward to showing it off in grand style. Visit with your favorite vendors, meet new ones, learn about advanced products and services, and win some great door prizes while doing it!

If you've never been to one of our shows, I can personally tell you it is loads of fun; in addition to a cash bar and plenty of food, there will be lots of theme-oriented costumes and booth decorations.

Do we have any drag queen volunteers yet? If so, here is your tip of the day: don't let that evening be the first time you apply false eyelashes, it takes several tries to get it right. Hope to see you there!
