1. The Roof is Filling Up

Our Roof Walk seminar, set for April 10, has only four seats left. If you would like to register yourself or someone from your management/maintenance staff please do so soon.

Member pricing is available to both BOMA and SAABE members, and the field trip portion on the roof is easily accessible by stairs.

The registration form is posted on the Education page of our website.

2. Theft Alert

A northside office building's parking lot was recently hit during lunch time -- tailgates were stolen from three pick-up trucks. If you have had similar activity, please let the SABOMA office know.

You might pass this info along to your tenants:

  • Some newer models of trucks have tailgate locks to deter thefts, but most trucks do not. Owners can protect themselves by installing after-market tailgate locks for about $25, versus the cost of a replacement tailgate for $1,000.

  • Tailgates do not have serial or identification numbers, so thieves can easily sell them to unscrupulous repair shops. Owners can also increase the likelihood of having a stolen tailgate returned by etching the vehicle identification number on the tailgate.

3. SWC Sponsorships

There are only five event-specific sponsorships remaining for the BOMA Southwest Conference in Little Rock. These sponsorships are:

Three education sessions @ $3,500 each
Friday Breakfast @ $5,000
Saturday Breakfast/Membership Meeting @ $5,000

If your checkbook doesn't stretch quite that far, they have recently created the $500 "Contributing Sponsor" level. Contributing Sponsors will be recognized in all conference materials as well as the website. Please consider becoming a contributing sponsor today! Email Amy Carter at acarter@bomaglr.org with your commitment.

A few golf tournament sponsorships still remain, but they're going quickly. For details on remaining golf sponsorships, please contact Dave Carter at dave@hartlazenby.com.

It is a tremendous amount of work to host a conference, and we hope that you will consider partnering with BOMA Little Rock in making the SWC a huge success for the whole region.
