TO: all members of SABOMA FROM: Lynn Forester (830) 981-5223
Have you noticed the tiny print at the top of this message about confirming your email address? I would appreciate it if you'd take a minute to ensure SABOMA's messages continue to be successfully delivered to your in-box. This is an anti-spam measure that our broadcast email service employs and lots of email servers (possibly yours at some point) participate in the system to filter out unwanted messages. Confirming your address lessens the possibility that your membership-related messages end up in no man's land with you completely unaware it's happening. There is also a link to unsubscribe; select that only if you are choosing to have no more email messages from San Antonio BOMA. It's an all or nothing deal, so opting out means ixnay on everything -- news flashes, luncheon reminders, committee notices, security warnings, etc. 2.Good Citizenship Points Nim Kidd, City of San Antonio's Emergency Management Coordinator and District Fire Chief, is asking BOMA members to complete a brief survey on the recent ice storm by 2/23. He is seeking input from both property managers and vendors, and says the survey shouldn’t take longer than five minutes to complete. "The information gathered from this will be valuable to the improvement and enhancement of local emergency management. Please take this survey at your earliest convenience and forward the link to anyone that had a role in preparedness or was affected by decisions made by the EOC staff. Thanks again for your continued support of the City of San Antonio Office of Emergency Management."
