1. On Wednesday, November 15, the funeral service for U.S. Marine Corporal Jose Aureliano "Joey" Galvan will be held. Galvan, a graduate of Holmes High School, was killed last week in Iraq. Mayor Phil Hardberger asks all local businesses and property managers to lower flags flown at their facilities to half staff this Wednesday.
