The February membership luncheon featured the presentation of several special awards given by our association each year. Please join us in congratulating these very deserving members!

We'd also like to express our appreciation to the Awards Committee for time spent in evaluating the honorees: Tomi Sue Beecham, Eileen Kondoff, Scott O'Brien, David Sunderland, and chair Brenda Younts.

The Richard C. Singer Award for Building Manager of the Year recognizes a first-class manager who has a thorough understanding of all issues affecting their property and runs a top notch operation. This year we had four outstanding nominees: John Anthis of REOC Partners, Mychel Jordan of First National Bank Tower, Jackie Mallette of Reata Property Management, and Joi Taylor of Rector Management. After a thorough review of all nominees, including personal interviews and site inspections, Joi Taylor was selected as our newest Manager of the Year. Joi truly exemplifies the pinnacle of professionalism and we are proud to have her as a member.

A Bob Cherniss Achievement Award for outstanding personal dedication to San Antonio BOMA was presented to two very deserving members: Richard Alexander and Tomi Sue Beecham. Volunteers are our organization's backbone, and Richard and Tomi Sue are two of our most dedicated members. Even with all their other responsibilities, the dependability of these two superstars never falters. Their contributions to our organization continue to ensure success for any BOMA endeavor, and their level of commitment is simply awe-inspiring.
