BOMI Graduates Honored

Nothing moves a career forward like the power of knowledge. We are proud to recognize three members who have completed a milestone in their professional education: a designation from BOMI Institute. You may have seen the letters RPA or FMA after a property manager's name and wondered what that means. RPA stands for Real Property Administrator and FMA stands for Facilities Management Administrator. They both stand for years of study and it's a huge accomplishment to finish, not unlike a college degree.

The RPA and FMA programs require seven semester-length courses and an ethics shortcourse. If all the classes are taken one right after the other, it takes about two and a half years to complete a designation program.

Be sure to congratulate our newest designees when you see them!

Jeannine Bean, RPA of Transwestern Commercial Services
Cindy Hernandez, RPA of REOC Partners
Veronica Rios, FMA of Alamo Towers (not pictured)
