Experience Exchange Report 2005 Data Collection
It is the EER time again! The 2005 questionnaire was mailed to over 19,000 people in mid-January, so you should already have received your copy. You have the option of submitting your income and expense data through (1) an on-line form, (2) an e-mailed excel spreadsheet or (3) a mailed or faxed paper questionnaire. The cover letter sent with the questionnaire has detailed information on these three options.
Extra copies of the survey can be downloaded from BOMA International’s website and mailed or faxed back to BOMA International. To access the on-line submission form, go to Submitting your data on an excel spreadsheet is especially useful if you are submitting data for multiple buildings. If you would like a copy of the pre-programmed excel spreadsheet, you can contact Amita Juneja, BOMA International’s Director of Research at (202)326-6345, or
ajuneja@boma.org.
Completing the survey form helps to support one of the real estate industry’s leading tools for monitoring and analyzing building performance and helps BOMA in putting together a more representative EER report, which in turn helps you greatly in your budgeting and business plans. Participants receive a complimentary Expense Comparison Report (EPC), which compares their building(s) to similar buildings in their local market. Participants are also entitled to discounted prices on 2005 EER book and the CD. In addition to this, 2005 survey participants are included in a drawing for a complimentary registration to BOMA International’s Annual Congress and the office building show to be held in Anaheim, CA in June 2005.
The deadline to submit your data is March 21 and the EER books will be available in the first week of July.
