Mark your calendar! The Trade Show is back — Thursday May 19 at the Airport Convention Center from 4:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. This year’s theme is “classic television shows” and we are expecting some very entertaining decorations and costumes from exhibitors competing for the coveted Best Booth prize!

Before the show, Ed Schaeffer of the Lower Colorado River Authority will present a half-day seminar on contingency planning for emergencies titled “Consequence-Based Planning: When Scenarios Don’t Matter”. The course is geared to both property managers and engineers, and all SABOMA and SAABE members will receive registration information within the next couple of weeks. We are applying for TREC credit and will send more information about the number of hours and approval status as it becomes available.

All building managers and engineers are encouraged to attend. This important event will showcase some of the best products and services offered to our industry. Rounding out the event are awesome door prizes, great food, and the pleasure of networking with your industry peers.

We are looking for a few more door prize and food sponsors. Both types of sponsorships receive a listing on signage at the show, and mention in the SABOMA/SAABE newsletters. For prizes, you may either donate the actual item or money we can use to purchase items.

New attendance policy: Managers, engineers and their spouses still get in free, but there will be a $100 entrance fee for non-exibiting vendors. This fee will be waived if your company is a door prize or food sponsor.

If you have any questions, please call the BOMA office at (830) 981-5223 for more information. Thanks very much!
